Our Learning Philosophy
At Auntie Me-Cole's, we believe that early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning. Our philosophy is centered around nurturing each child's natural curiosity, creativity, and individuality through play-based learning. We believe that learning should be fun in order to help children establish a desire and love for learning.
There is no limit to what children can learn in their early years (ages 0-5). We actively take advantage of that fact while also allowing children to remain children. We offer a balance of learning through play coupled with an incorporation of technology, music & movement, teacher guided instruction, and independent learning. Our curriculum is theme based allowing us to use a mixture of techniques and learning styles that are creative, engaging, and effective.
We offer a variety of programs to meet your child's needs, including full-time and part-time care, preschool, and after-school programs. We strive to provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for your child to learn and grow.
Our Program is the perfect balance of an environment that is a "home away from home" where we teach, nurture, and address the overall growth and development of your child.
Meet Ms. Nicole
I have been a child care provider for over 13 years with my initial journey in education beginning in 2008. I began by working with school aged children (K-12) as a Substitute Teacher. I went on to obtain my Masters Degree in Education with a specialization in Best Practices. I also obtained my Early Childhood Core Certification as well.
I worked as an early childhood educator from 2011- 2015. In August of 2015, I opened and operated a Preschool Center for 8 years before making the decision to sell the school and open Auntie Me-Cole's.
My experience as a Preschool Teacher, Owner, & Director has allowed me to create a warm and engaging learning environment for your child(ren) to flourish. I am dedicated and passionate about early childhood education and I have the experience and qualifications to provide your family with high-quality care. I am excited to see what heights we can reach!

- 7:30 - 8:30 : Arrivals - Centers & Free Choice Play
- 8:45 - 9:15 : Breakfast
- 9:15 - 10:15 : Outdoor Play
- 10:15 - 11:00 : Circle Time - 1 on 1 & Enrichment
- 11:15 - 12:00 : Lunch
- 12:00 - 12:20 : Storytime
- 12:30 - 2:30 : Nap
- 2:45 - 3:00 : Music & Movement
- 3:00 - 3:20 : Enrichment
- 3:30 - 4:00 : PM Snack
- 4:15 - 5:00 : Outdoor Play
- 5:00 - 5:45 : Daily Recap - Centers - Free Choice
